Who was the Lone Ranger?

” The Lone Ranger is a fictional masked former Texas Ranger who fought outlaws in the American Old West with his Native American friend, Tonto. The character has been called an enduring icon of American culture.

He first appeared in 1933 in a radio show conceived either by WXYZ (Detroit) radio station owner George W. Trendle or by Fran Striker, the show’s writer. The radio series proved to be a hit and spawned a series of books (largely written by Striker), an equally popular television show that ran from 1949 to 1957, comic books, and several movies. The title character was played on the radio show by George Seaton, Earle Graser, and Brace Beemer. Clayton Moore portrayed the Lone Ranger on television, although during a contract dispute, Moore was replaced temporarily by John Hart, who wore a different style of mask. On the radio, Tonto was played by, among others, John Todd and Roland Parker; and in the television series, by Jay Silverheels, who was a Mohawk from the Six Nations Indian Reserve in Ontario, Canada.”  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lone_Ranger

Geostorm

Like everything else that is powerful and made by humans, we once again dive into a fable of the good scientific people inventing a way to do something, in this case control global weather with surgical precision, to later be hijacked by some power-hungry moron who does not have enough mind power to wonder why the smarter sciencey men choose not to fuck with the weather. With recognizable actors and the traditional cinematic epic film score, this is yet another form of psychological palliative that at best might make us a bit more conscientious of our fragility as a planet but really might probably do more harm than its pro-green message.

Legend Of The Sword What Went Wrong?

King Arthur: The Legend of the Sword’s disastrous opening in May 2017 vaulted it to the top of the list of biggest box office bombs of the year, earning a measly 14.7 million dollars in the U.S., against a $175 million budget — plus marketing costs. Yeah: A legendary flop. But director Guy Ritchie knows how to make big, loud, awesome action movies. Charlie Hunnam is a talented actor-on-the-rise with all the qualities you could want in a leading man. Jude Law makes a great villain. So, by Merlin’s beard, how did The Legend of the Sword go so wrong?

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2017 Deleted Scenes

Watch some of the deleted scenes of the new volume of Guardians Of The Galaxy 2017. There’s a bit of concept art, clips of some of the deleted scenes, details on Adam Warlock and a bunch of other stuff.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is a 2017 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team Guardians of the Galaxy, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the sequel to 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy and the fifteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is written and directed by James Gunn and stars an ensemble cast featuring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan, Sean Gunn, Sylvester Stallone, and Kurt Russell. In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, the Guardians travel throughout the cosmos as they help Peter Quill learn more about his true parentage.

The film was officially announced at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con International before the theatrical release of the first film, along with Gunn’s return from the first film, with the title of the sequel revealed a year later in June 2015. The film began principal photography in February 2016 at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayette County, Georgia, with many crew changes from the first film due to other commitments. Filming concluded in June 2016. Gunn chose to set the sequel shortly after the first film to explore the characters’ new roles as the Guardians, and to follow the storyline of Quill’s father established throughout the first film—Russell was confirmed in that role in July 2016, portraying Ego, a departure from Quill’s comic father.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 premiered in Tokyo on April 10, 2017 and was released in the United States on May 5, 2017, in 3D and IMAX 3D. It has grossed $509 million worldwide, making it the fifth highest-grossing film of 2017. The film was praised by critics for its humor, soundtrack and cast, but was deemed not as “fresh” as the original. A sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, is being developed with James Gunn returning to write and direct.- Source: Wikipedia.org
