“Hurrian Hymn No. 6” is the oldest melody in the world that we know of, but its not complete. The oldest surviving musical composition in its entirety is a Greek melody from the 1st century AD. C. known as the “Epitaph Seikilos”. The song was found engraved on an ancient marble column used to mark the grave of a woman in Turkey.
