David Cronenberg is a Canadian filmmaker, author and, actor. His specialty is called body horror or visceral horror genre. He explores public fears and body transformations, and is the guy to go to for expressing visceral infections. Cronenberg states that in the movie Shivers he identifies with the characters when they get infected by the anarchic parasites. He believes we are unable of changing our perspective of looking at things. During the first century, Cronenberg has left his work on horror body genre to focus on psychological and extreme behaviors for a peace called “A History of Violence” that starred Viggo Mortensen a small traditional man that after committing a heroic deed is persecuted by his past. This is one of his most regarded dramas.
Cronenberg´s novels and movies are unique and many knowers of his art admire and love his work, he goes to extenious lenghts to reveal how we are blind to see things rom a trully new perspective. In 2008 he made two extra cinematographic projects “Chromosomes” and “The Fly” and presented each one in “Rome Film Festival” and “LaOpera Los Angeles”.
Cronenberg told fans he does not watch his own movies, he also declared that during a film he always knows what he wants. The case was with Keira Knightley who once worked with Cronenberg during a film in 2011, she said the director never shoot a scene twice. He said he had it all in his head even though during the scene some things did not seem completely okay. He was also asked by paparazzi about the movie Twilight and he said he watched it because of Robert Pattinson that he later cast for a movie, not that he was interested in the vampire romance.
