Tom Cruise decides to go NARCO. Based on the story of a kick-ass airplane pilot that goes “Breaking Bad” in the 80’s and eventually winds up working for the CIA, and Pablo Escobar. Like all movies Mr. Tom does, these great ideas belonged to other people in other countries and their movies, songs ( narco Corridos) and tv series about Latin American Druglords now got a spin. It’s like the movie Blow and the movie Snatched had a baby and they called it American Made.
American Made (previously known as Mena) is a 2017 American biographical crime film directed by Doug Liman, written by Gary Spinelli and starring Tom Cruise. The plot focuses on Barry Seal, a former TWA pilot who became a drug smuggler for the Medellín Cartel in the 1980s. In order to avoid jail time, Seal approached United States government officials and served as an informant for the DEA. The film was released in the UK on August 25, 2017, and will be released in the United States on September 29, 2017.
